Protecting the confidentiality of client information is a priority at Acentrus Financial Partners.

 

How We Protect Client Information

We protect client information through robust physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards.  We authorize only those employees who need client information to provide products or services to clients.  We protect client information in accordance with application data secutiry regulations.

 

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

Acentrus Financial Partners collects information that helps to service client needs, and to fulfill legal and regulatory requirements. Information collected may include, but is not limited to, information provided on applications and related materials (for example, name, address, email, telephone number, social security number, and financial information; information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others such as services purchase and account balances).

 

Who Do We Disclose Information To?

We will never sell lists of our clients to any third party marketing company.  We share client information only when required by law or regulation to third parties; for example, in response to legal action and/or subpoena; to prevent fraud; and/or to comply with rules or inquiries from industry regulators.  As permitted by federal or state laws, we may share or exchange information with companies or individuals engaged to work with us, such as: third part administrators and vendors engaged to effect, administer, or enforce a transaction that you request or authorize; financial service entities, such as banks, insurance companies, or other securities broker-dealers or investment advisers that we engage with to provide customary services to clients; and/or registered representative assigned to service the client through Acentrus Financial Partners with whom we have independent contractor agreements.

Information Security Practices

We restrict access to nonpublic information about clients to those employees who need know that information to provide products or services to clients.  We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards on client nonpublic personal information.

 

In the event of a breach of sensitive client information, we will notify affected clients directly by mail or electronically (or both) in accordance with the Oregon Identity Theft Protection Act (ORS 646A.600).

Opt-Out

If the investment advisor servicing the client's account leaves Acentrus Financial Partners to join another investment advisor or broker-dealer, he or she may be able to maintain copies of your information so they can continue to serve you at their new firm.  The information retained by the the departing representative may be shared within the advisor's new firm and will be subject to the new firm's privary policy.  If you do not wish to have your information shared (other than as required by law) with any non-affiliated third parties, including the departing investment advisor, or you have any questions regarding this privacy policy please contact us at Acentrus Financial Partners LLC, Attn: Compliance Department, 2135 NE 14th Avenue, Hillsboro, OR 97124 or call (971) 444-2287.
